Editor's Note Issue 11
Welcome to the 11th issue of the Teen Dispatch!
We have dedicated this issue of the Teen Dispatch to poetry. This month’s issue will be used to honour poets, encourage others to write, and give poets the confidence to showcase their works.
Crowded Loneliness
I hate the way
my past chases me around,
snaking her way up my legs,
Nature's Cycle of Love
As humans we get used to someone
Get used to their tree of love.
And every day that a leaf falls,
Thoughts
Getting up early,
Just to look at herself in the mirror,
Convincing herself she isn’t different.
Confined
And when the air was quiet and pristine,
The sun called her name
The moon kissed her scars,
Pain : The Enjoyment
I like the pain.
The feeling you get
Once you rip out the bandages of your past.
