Editor's Note

Welcome to the 5th issue of the Teen Dispatch!

Commemorating an entire year of school lost – I thought some of the articles in this issue should get into what specific individuals lost, gained, or acknowledged this past year. Apart from it being a risky and tough year with the fear of getting infected, this year has been boring, extremally lonely and dragged out. Some of us have even lost out on opportunities which can never come again – exchange programs, tournaments, our first years at a new school/college and a lot more. So read the newest issue to discover what Ksheerja Arora does to cope with the loss of basketball in her daily life and how much she misses it. Anushka Prakash also talks about the pressure associated with winning a captaincy post in her school and how if it weren’t for COVID, she would be able to make the most of her new designation.

With the Formula 1 show – Drive to Survive continuing to be on India’s 10 most popular shows on Netflix, one felt that now is the time to admire some F1 heroes. In an interesting article comparing the old with the new, Devna Aggarwal helps us figure out whether Lewis Hamilton or Michael Schumacher is a better driver, whilst comparing all fields of their competitive life.

In an article about ‘Living in the Shadow of a Sibling’, Mahee Chandra digs into all the expectations, duress and pressure associated with it. She talks about what one feels living with an overachieving sister. In another article, Nandini Jalan talks about what life is like growing up in a palace in the capital of Bihar. She goes over the corruption, fighting and treachery associated with royalty and how just because they live in a palace, doesn’t mean their life is a fairytale.

If this seemed interesting, make sure to read each of the articles of Teen Dispatch’s latest issue.

I hope you enjoy it!
